Horror Fantasies

Horror Fantasies

Spooky season is finally upon us, so it’s time to own up to your most horrifying fantasies. Don’t worry; we all have them—that sexual fantasy that might make someone else’s jaw drop. Fantasies like these are all too common, and they’re nothing to be afraid of. In fact, there’s nothing more fun than enacting something spooky in a safe and consensual way.

Why are scary situations so sexy? Things that are taboo or scary are always extra hot because your body responds in many of the same ways to fear as it does to arousal: adrenaline courses through your veins, your heart beats a bit quicker, and you’re completely in the present moment, both body and mind. Below are some of my favorite horror fantasies to bring to life with clients.

The Thrill of the Chase

The Thrill of the Chase

Sometimes, sex is hotter if it feels more like predator-meets-prey than boy-meets-girl (or boy or nonbinary person!) A little game of cat and mouse is sexy for a reason: there’s not just the thrill of having sex—there’s also a little bit of danger. Things that are well within our grasp are attainable, which can get a bit boring, and what’s unattainable can be seriously erotic.

We are psychologically programmed to value things less when we don’t have to work for them. When you do have to work for it, then psychologically, you know that what you’re getting is going to be good. You feel like you’ve won a prize when you’ve obtained something that feels out of your league, which makes the fantasy of pursuit so red hot.

To set up a pursuit roleplay, this first step is discussing the elements beforehand that are hottest for you. I can hide from you while you do your best to find me and try to struggle out of your arms once you’ve caught me! Once you’ve conquered your conquest, what happens next is up to us.

Capturing a Little More Than Your Imagination

Capturing a Little More Than Your Imagination

Picture this: I’m a sexy hostage, taken as collateral to protect you from those who would see you imprisoned. You’re a long-time criminal, wanted by several agencies, on the run again. You have me all tied up, and we have some time to kill during the standoff. You drag me out of sight and have your way with me.

Maybe I’m a victim of a home invasion gone wrong, and one of the things you pillage is me. Or perhaps you see me standing alone on a dark and stormy night and know immediately that you must have me. Conveniently, you’ve brought rope and a gag, and you bind me and make me your sex slave.

Yes, I’m talking about a kidnapping fantasy, where you must take what you want by force. Having an abduction fantasy is totally normal, and it’s a ton of fun to consensually roleplay.

Horror Film Roleplay

Horror Film Roleplay

Horror films can get your pulse racing, which is one of the reasons they translate so well to the bedroom. Re-enacting a horror film can be unbelievably erotic. Let me know what your favorite horror flick is, or take some inspiration from the movies I’ve listed below.

Psycho

This one is a classic for a reason, and it would make for a super-hot sexual encounter too. I could be in the shower with a peeping tom watching right outside. When you come in to stab me, I fight you off but not before we have steamy shower sex.

Blair Witch

This roleplay is perfect for anyone who loves compersion, sex with multiple people, or being watched. We could roleplay three campers in the middle of a haunted forest, when the Blair Witch finally catches up with us, forcing one of us to stand in the corner and watch while the other two have sensual fun.

A Quiet Place

This horror movie roleplay fantasy is ideal for fans of BDSM. Imagine we are in a post-apocalyptic era filled with aliens who can hear a pin drop. We must be extremely quiet while we get intimate, and there will be severe punishments (or funishments—punishments that are fun) for whoever makes the most noise.

Safely Making Horror Fantasies a Reality

Safely Making Horror Fantasies a Reality

With many of the above scenarios, you would need to devise a safe word in advance to keep things consensual. That means if anyone doesn’t like where the scene is going, you can use the safe word, and things will come to a stop. When roleplaying intense scenarios, the safe word is key because it maintains a sense of ongoing consent. Another good idea is to discuss all aspects of the roleplay before getting started so that nothing comes as a surprise.
